Our History
The FLPA emerged as a local land trust following the 2002 Land Use Plan update by the the Board Fairfield County Commissioners.
As a non-profit they provide an alternative to local, state and federal government programs for land preservation efforts.
They received their Federal 501(c)3 Exemption in 2005.

The Fairfield Land Preservation Association is dedicated to the protection of natural features and working farmland for the benefit of present and future generations of Fairfield County through acceptance or purchase of conservation easements.
